A Safe Alternative for Surgery

Treatment Focus
Each patient receives an individualized treatment plan and recovery goals based on information gathered in a detailed evaluation performed by a podiatric physician and surgeon. Rehabilitation programs involve a wide range of treatment options including, but not limited to: Cold Laser therapy, MicroVas therapy, joint mobilization and/or manipulation, soft tissue mobilization, ASTYM treatments, modalities(i.e., ultrasound, heat/ice, electrical stimulation, etc.), hydrotherapy and therapeutic exercise. Our signature is non invasive treatment of: painful diabetic neuropathy, painful peripheral vascular disease, painful lower extremities edema, lymphadema, arthritic pain and rehabilitation after the foot and ankle trauma or surgery.

Cold Laser
Certain wavelengths of light have the ability to penetrate high-water content material such as animal tissue. This penetration allows the process of photobiostimulation on animal cells is similar to photosynthesis in plant cells whereby light sets in motion a chain of chemical reactions. In human tissue the resulting photochemical reaction produces an increase in the cellular metabolism rate which expedites cell repair and the stimulation of several systems: the immune, lymphatic and vascular.

MicroVas

  • Elevates blood flow and tissue oxygenation in the treatment area
  • Accelerates lymphatic drainage
  • Compatible with conventional wound care
  • Non-invasive, high patient comfort
  • Promotes angiogenesis
  • Broad application for pain & healing

Ultrasound
Ultrasound uses acoustic vibrations that penetrate into deeper layers of the tissues, breaking down scar tissue, reduces swelling, and aids in reducing calcified spurs.

Highvolt
High Volt is used for pain reduction. It is a muscular rehabilitation exercise, which increases circulation and reduces muscle spasm.

Interferential
Interferential reduces painful symptoms and decreases local swelling. It releases the body's natural pain killers, helping to accelerate the healing process.

Massage
The benefits of massage include:

  • increase in circulation
  • increase in flexibility and mobility
  • decrease in pain and inflammation
  • relief of muscle aches and stiffness
  • a sense of overall relaxation and wellness
